Day-wise itinerary
Day 1 — Drive in, evening safari⌄
Depart Mysuru at noon (Bengaluru boarding at 9 am), reach the forest-edge resort by 3 pm and head straight out on the evening safari — the best window for elephant herds and gaur at the waterholes. Naturalist briefing over dinner.

Day 2 — Dawn safari and Gopalaswamy Betta⌄
Out at first light for the morning safari, back for breakfast, then the drive up to Himavad Gopalaswamy Betta where the mist sits in the valley below. Lunch and the drive home, Mysuru drop by 5 pm.

Sunrise was worth the 4 am start. Everything from pickup to drop was on schedule and the WhatsApp group before the trip made it easy to settle in.

Stay was clean, food was proper home-cooked local stuff, and the itinerary had enough slack that we weren't rushing between viewpoints. Would book with them again.
