Day 1 — Overnight drive, Jog Falls⌄
Reach Sagara by morning, breakfast at the homestay, then the drive to Jog Falls for the main viewpoint and — for those with the knees — the 1,400 steps down to the base and back.

A full morning of kayaking and swimming on the Honnemaradu backwaters, lunch on the shore, then the ferry across to the Sigandur temple and back for sunset on the reservoir.

Day 3 — Dabbe falls and the drive home⌄
An early trek to Dabbe falls through the Sharavathi valley forest, then breakfast and the long drive back via Shivamogga. Bengaluru by 10 pm.

★ 3 · Fine, but the food was repetitive
No complaints about safety or logistics, and the stay was decent. Three meals of the same menu got old though, and one viewpoint was skipped because we ran late.

The destination and the organisation were both excellent. Only gripe is the overnight drive — bring a neck pillow and don't expect much sleep on the ghat road.
